Cricket Betting at 999 d — Bet on Every Format from T20 to Test
Bet on Bangladesh's favourite sport at 999 d. BPL, IPL and international matches — we are always ready with live odds, multiple markets and easy deposit options.
The three cricket formats and the competitions Bangladeshis follow most
The first thing to understand in cricket betting is which format you are betting on. T20 is the fastest format — only 20 overs per innings, so the pace of play and odds change very quickly. A single boundary or a single wicket can shift the entire picture of a match.
In ODI each team has 50 overs, so the pace is a bit slower and there is more room for the innings to find a rhythm. Middle-over statistics play an important role in ODI betting markets. Test cricket is the longest format — it can last up to five days, and a draw is a valid result. T20 and ODI have no draw odds, but Test cricket does.
The competition watched with the most excitement in Bangladesh is BPL (Bangladesh Premier League). IPL is also hugely popular with viewers here. At the international level, Bangladesh Tigers matches in the T20 World Cup and other ICC tournaments naturally generate the highest interest in betting markets.
How betting on football and other sports differs
Alongside cricket, you can also bet on football and other sports at 999 d. In football each match is 90 minutes and there are generally three possible outcomes — home win, away win or draw. In cricket (especially T20 and ODI) there are usually only two outcomes, which gives the odds a different structure.
Handicap and goals over/under betting are well known in football, while runs over/under and partnership markets are popular in cricket. Betting across different sports shows that each sport has its own rhythm and patterns — it is best to understand those before placing bets.
Beyond betting, 999 d has plenty more to enjoy. In the virtual casino you can play baccarat, roulette and Teen Patti with a live dealer. There are also jackpot fishing games with a fishing theme that are quite popular among Bangladeshi players.
Seven popular betting markets in cricket
In a cricket match you can bet on many types of markets beyond just win or lose. Below is a brief explanation of the seven most familiar markets.
-
1
Match Winner
The simplest market — which team will win the match. In T20 or ODI there are only two options; in Test there are three (Team A win, Team B win, draw). -
2
Toss Winner
Which team will win the toss — this is a standalone market with no relation to the match result. The odds for both teams are usually close to each other. -
3
Top Batsman
Which batsman will score the most runs — a market where you pick the highest scorer in a team's innings in advance. -
4
Total Runs Over/Under
A specific target (e.g. 160) is set — the bet is whether the team will score more than that. The live target changes as wickets fall and overs are completed. -
5
First Wicket Timing
Before which over the first wicket will fall — the result is known right at the start of the innings, so this market carries its own excitement in the first few overs of a match. -
6
Multi Bet (multiple bets combined)
Multiple selections are added to a single slip and the odds are multiplied. If any one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost. Example: see the odds section below for multi bet details. -
7
Handicap Runs
A virtual advantage is given to the weaker team to make the odds more even. Example: if Team A is given a 15-run handicap, this bet pays out if they still win after the handicap is applied.
Keep this in mind before choosing a market
Every market carries its own risk. Simpler markets (such as Match Winner) have relatively lower odds but the outcome is easier to read. More complex markets (such as Top Batsman or First Wicket) have higher odds but also greater uncertainty.
Combining multiple selections in a multi bet raises the potential return, but if any one selection is wrong the entire bet is lost. So it is important to understand each selection well before placing a multi bet.

Decimal, fractional and American — three types of odds
A betting site may show odds for the same match in three different formats. All three express the same probability — only the way they are written differs. The two examples below will make this clear.
Example 1 — Odds for Team A to win (stake ৳500):
Decimal 2.50 = Fractional 3/2 = American +150
If the bet wins, total return is ৳1,250 (৳750 profit + ৳500 original stake). If it loses, ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — Odds for Team B to win (stake ৳500):
Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125
American minus odds show how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit. On a ৳500 stake, total return is ৳900 (৳400 profit).
Decimal odds are the easiest to calculate — multiply the stake by the odds to get the total return. Most betting platforms in Bangladesh show decimal odds by default.
Three selections on one slip — how a multi bet is calculated
In a multi bet (or accumulator), selections from multiple matches or markets are combined into a single bet. The odds of each selection are multiplied together, so the potential return can be much higher. However, if any one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost.
Example — three selections, stake ৳100:
First selection odds 1.50, second 1.70, third 1.80
Combined odds: 1.50 × 1.70 × 1.80 = 4.59 (approximately)
If all three selections are correct, total return is ৳459. But if any one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Before placing a multi bet, think about each match separately — adding many selections together reduces the chance of all of them being correct at the same time.
Betting rules
- Check the odds and potential return once before placing each bet
- You can bet on multiple markets in a single match
- Odds change quickly in live betting — if you take time to decide, the odds may have already changed
- In T20, markets become more compressed in the final overs
- To learn about rules and conditions, see the terms and conditions page
Odds shift when wickets fall — understanding in-play betting
Live or in-play betting means placing bets in real time while a match is in progress. In cricket this is particularly dynamic because the situation changes after every ball, every wicket and every over — and the odds change accordingly.
For example, if the batting team loses two wickets in the 5th over, the odds for that team in the Match Winner market may suddenly lengthen. Equally, if a big over produces 20+ runs, the numbers in the runs over/under market shift quickly.
- When a wicket falls, the batting team's odds of winning lengthen
- After the powerplay, odds are reset based on the score
- If a Duckworth-Lewis situation arises, some markets may be temporarily suspended
- In the last 5 overs, total runs market odds change the fastest
- Live odds change fast — a bet may be confirmed before you are sure about it
- It is better not to rush a bet in the heat of the moment
- Keep your budget in mind before each bet
In-play experience across different formats
The fastest-changing format. Three boundaries in one over can shift the entire match. In-play markets are very active.
A mid-paced game. Powerplay, middle overs and death overs — different markets become active in each phase.
A long game. Odds change with each session. When the chance of a draw increases, that is reflected in the markets.
What you need to know before starting cricket betting
Set your budget in advance
Before each match, decide for yourself how much you will bet. If you lose, it is better not to increase that amount trying to "win it back" — that only raises the risk.
Start with simpler markets
If you are new, start with Match Winner or Toss markets. Try more complex markets (Top Batsman, Handicap) gradually, once you understand them well.
Understand the format before betting
In T20, one over can change an entire match. In ODI and Test, a shift in momentum takes longer. Choose your markets according to the format.
No rushing in live betting
In in-play betting, odds change every moment. Rather than betting on impulse, assess the situation before deciding. Rushing can result in a bet placed at the wrong odds.
